Gonna pounce part 8

Hi! I decided to go biweekly with this blog
Also! I made it so anyone can post comments.
AND I've decided that any paid subscriber will get stuff in the mail from me periodically. This comic I've been posting is going to be my next publication and I'd love to send it to folks. It will also be for sale somewhere. (it will also be the last comic I make using digital tools, more on that later.) I've made a flower care mini-zine for the farm I'd love to mail also. I will reach out for addresses at some point.
This weeks Rec's:
There was nothing exciting, to me, released this week but also I've really just been reading Lord of the Rings!?
I finished Two Towers the other day and it was a great experience. This was the book I skipped the entire second half of when I first read it. I was 10 or 11. I was so bored by the section with Sam and Frodo and Gollum just endlessly trekking through barren wastelands that I jumped to the next book.
I guess I'm glad I did that because I loved the third book as a kid and it was pretty foundational. HOWEVER, I have recently come to find that the second half of Two Towers is the best shit ever. The below passage is my favorite bit. There's this beautiful thing where all three adventurers share a peaceful moment together, unwittingly and unabashedly loving each other before it gets ruptured by everyone's deep seated biases. Just excellent stuff.

Also I started annotating books I'm reading, and I've been using this very pleasant set of the books that are very small and faux leather bound. They're perfect for sticking in my coat pocket. This set, if you're curious.
That's all for today. Love you all.
